CharkBait! Saltwater Anglers Club 04/19/02

These video clips were shot during one of our club meetings, held monthly at the shop.  The quality isn't the greatest, but there's some good content if you have the patience for the download.

Al and Max at the CharkShop Our guest speakers, Al and Max talked about their Halibut techniques - which are awfully successful and creative in their approach to fishing the flatties. The guys have also put together a very useful book if you happen to fish Southern California (link).  I had the opportunity to fish with Al a few years back.  You might also might enjoy reading an old report about our day's fishing. (link)

We're using Windows Media Audio/Video and Real Player files (WMV and RM formats).  You may want to download Microsoft's most recent update for best viewing.  The files should be compatible with computers running Windows 98 or later versions of their operating system. DSL for best success. Part 1 is a long, long download.  You must be on DSL to make this one workable.  Part 2 is a 10 minute question and answer session.

You too can get published right here at CharkBait. Have an idea other boaters or fishermen could use, some experience to share, a great trip to report? Well, get typing, include some pics, and if your article is selected for publication you'll receive a free CharkChirt and the appreciation of other fishermen.
